Band - Sublime

This band seems to have stolen my heart as of late. I don't know why I never listened to them before, but I just cannot seem to stop now that I have started. I have always been a big fan of reggae music and that is exactly what they dip into. They are a mixture of a little rock and reggae and I can definitely relax and chill to this music. They are invading my ipod!

Movie - New Moon

I don't care if this gets the same label as the Harry Potter movie series, I really don't. I enjoyed the book and I enjoyed the movie just as much, if not more. I don't care if everyone out there is hating on the series just because there are a lot of teenagers obsessing over it. The books are outstanding reads and I suggest you pick one up and read it before judging people for liking it. I guarantee you will not be able to put it down.

Now that that nonsense is out of the way, let me begin with the fact that because of this movie I have become a loyal member of "Team Jacob". Anyone who has seen the first movie "Twilight" will most definitely become a Edward fan right off the bat because he is absolutely the perfect man for this girl and he is a dream come true for any girl because he is attractive, strong, the works really. He doesn't mess up in Twilight, he loves her for everything that she is and protects her even though he doesn't even know her that well. He is Cinderella's Prince Charming and nobody could ever see anything wrong with him. This is all the perception Twilight. The fact that Edward is mister perfect and Jacob is just some little kid sent to try and shoo him away and to be young and annoying. But in New Moon you are put into a completely different situation where Edward has now left Bella to fend for herself and she is destroyed. All of the Edward fans are dropping their jaws and starting to get second thoughts of how great he is all of a sudden because if you really loved someone like he said he did, why would he really do that to her? Well that's what made me become a Jacob fan. Jacob never gave up on her, no matter what. Even when he was sworn to secrecy and put into his clan, he still fought for her and loved her with everything that he was and he never gave that up, not even when Alice and Edward returned.

And five stars all the way for absolute enjoyment. I can't wait for the third one.

Movie - Zombieland

Wow it has been a long time since I have been on here and it's about time for some more posts. Not like anyone comes on here or anything anyway.... but here goes my review of the recent movie "Zombieland".

Zombieland is obviously a comedy zombie film, but it's nothing like all of those "movie" movies such as "Epic Movie" or "Super Hero Movie". This is an ACTUAL spoof of your cliche zombie films. It takes the situation from a different kind of angle rather than shoot and run. The shy loner boy figures out certain rules to living in the situation rather than just your typical reactions. He thinks of all of the things that everyone always does wrong in the monster and zombie movies and creates rules to prevent becoming the victim to them. This boy meets a man who has lost his son to the zombies and is kind of a loner himself.

I really enjoyed this movie and recommend it for parties of people. If you have a few people over and are bored trying to think of a good movie to watch, you should try this movie out because it is definitely worth not only one watch, but a few in my opinion.

I give this movie a nice four out of five because it was very amusing and not stupid funny, but actually funny.

Movie - 9

I had no idea this movie even existed until my friend said that we should go see it. So I went with her to go see it and I actually fell in love with the movie. This is such a great movie and I loved it so much. I would definitely buy this movie and watch it over and over again.

I give this movie a five out of five.

Movie - Center Stage

So I had some ideas of this movie and knew it would be a good one, but I just never really had time to get around to watching it, so I rented it on netflix and ended up completely loving it. I fell in love with this movie. There was a lot of feeling and emotion and personality to the movie. Dancing is just something I have learned to respect and love to watch. I think it is amazing how people can move their bodies in the way that they do. I would definitely buy this movie, so if I ever see it, I will buy it. My favorite part was the dance off between the guys and girls at the dance club.

I would give this movie a five out of five!

Movie - The Great Yokai War

This had to be the weirdest movie I have ever seen in my entire life. Me and my best friend watched this and my jaw was on the floor the whole time with how confused I was and awe struck. It was just one weird thing after another. I really have no idea what was going on in this movie nor did I want to know. I can't say this is really worth watching again.

I give this movie a two out of five for humor.

Movie - Pretty Woman

This movie is so Julia Roberts and I can see what everyone was talking about when they said this was her movie. It is amazing that there are still people out there who can take someone at their lowest and show them how to be at their highest. Julia Roberts played a woman who was too ashamed to go home to tell her family that she had failed at her life so she (with the help of a not so good friend) became a hooker. She was good at what she did because she was always very safe and never got attached. She was just a girl looking for someone to love her and that is exactly what she found, her white knight.

This movie earns a complete five stars for being one of those amazing romantic movies that wowed me.

Video Game - Okami

I can honestly say that this is the best game that I have played in a long time. This is a wonderful RPG (and sadly the last of Clover's productions) and a great play. If you ever see this game, PICK IT UP! This game is about a goddess named Amaterasu (the goddess of the sun and leader of all other gods and goddesses and who is also a wolf) who is on Earth to help the people free their world from a horrible evil that has infested it. With the help from a little Poncle named Issun, she travels through the lands for a span of about two years ridding the world of evil and fighting against horrible beings. This game has great gameplay and sidequests and are enjoyable and not too difficult. I one hundred percented the game without any kind of hassel (except a few things I needed to look up). The only downsides to the game I'd have to way were the digging games and blockhead. Blockhead was a very unnecessary piece of the game and only frustrated the people who played the game. If you play the game, you will know exactly what I'm talking about. The cool part of the game is that you use a celestrial brush (her tail) to aid you in certain things. The even cooler part is that you have to draw them yourself as if you are painting for real. This game also puts a lot of humor into itself so that you are not continuously bored and serious, but you actually are laughing and enjoying yourself. I'd say this is a great game overall.

This game earns a full five stars for stealing about eighty hours of my life away.

Movie - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

This is the sixth movie in case you are not a follower of either the series of movies or books. I must say that I am impressed and disappointed in this movie at the same time. I am impressed at how well the movie was produced and how well the acting was (although it has been really good up to this point anyway). The movie portrayed the book in a way where all could really feel what was going on in the wizarding world and how the horror of Voldemort was taking over. On the other hand, if you are somebody who was a loyal follower of J.K. Rowling's series, you will be thoroughly disappointed in the horrible adaptation of the book to movie scenario. The book is followed to a certain point and then the movie just veers off into a completely different spectrum and just throws random scenes in and even some things from the middle of the seventh book.

All in all, if you have read the books then you will be disappointed by the movie, but if you haven't then I feel you will enjoy this movie a good deal. I give it a four out of five for being a great watch and only four because it didn't say true to the series.

Movie - Night of the Demons

This is pretty much your average old school thriller and is actually very interesting. This is a movie on a Halloween night at a party that is being held in a funeral home. A fun party game turns into a serious problem when demons are unleashed upon all of the partygoers, possessing them into trying to kill the others. The most popular scene that I feel the movie is known for is the scene where the woman puts the lipstick into her nipple. If anyone has seen the movie, that is the scene they remember most out of all of them. It is very sad how the guy at the end of the movie was more of a chicken than the girl who was a wuss the entire movie.

I give this movie a three out of five for mild entertainment and a good laugh.

Movie - Tamara

Oh my lord is all I can say for this movie. I can honestly say that this movie was absolutely gory and strange. A poor misfortunate girl who has no friends or popularity or much of a family life at all is pushed into a prank because a teacher enjoyed her article for a paper. The prank goes too far and she is murdered and buried only to show up the next day at school. I was very confused in some of the parts and the end left me waiting for a sequel which I am pretty sure doesn't exist at this point. I might watch this movie again, but it was pretty much a clash between Carrie and Stir of Echoes. So if you really enjoyed both of those movies then by all means check this movie out or if you are a vivid FearNet watcher, then you will also greatly enjoy this movie.

As for me, this was a mildly amusing film that reminded me of some good films I had seen in the past. I give this movie a three and a half out of five.
